What energy healing do we offer?
Reiki healing
Reiki is an ancient Asian practice. The Japanese word comes from
Rei - meaning universal and Ki - meaning life energy.
Reiki can help relax the body, move out any stagnant energy that our bodies are holding on to and rebalance and realign our chakras.
We are all matter and have an electromagnetic field that surrounds us. By using my magnetic field, as a healer, I can influence your biofield and help to shift and direct any old, negative energy out.
This in turn can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve your mood and sleep, and heal emotionally and physically.
We can perform Reiki in person or also virtually.
Sound healing
A therapeutic practice that uses vibrations from various sound sources such as singing bowls, gongs, drums, chimes or the human voice, to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The idea that sound frequencies can impact the body and mind, influencing stress levels, relaxation, and the healing process.
As healers we believe that different frequencies and tones can resonate with specific parts of the body or our main chakras (energy centers), helping to realign and rebalance us. The practice is often used in meditation, yoga, and holistic treatments to induce a state of deep relaxation and balance.
The vibrations produced by the instruments are thought to interact with the body at a cellular level, promoting a sense of calm, reducing stress, and supporting overall well-being.
Somatic healing
Somatic healing is a therapeutic approach that focuses on connecting the mind and body to address physical and emotional trauma and getting you out of the freeze, fight or flight mode. The term "somatic" comes from the Greek word "soma," which means "body." This method recognizes that trauma and stress can be stored in the body and can manifest as physical symptoms or tension.
Key aspects of somatic healing include:
- Body Awareness: we will encourage you to develop an awareness of bodily sensations, which can provide insights into emotional and psychological states.
- Release of Physical Tension: By paying attention to physical sensations, you can identify and release tension that may be associated with past traumas.
- Trauma Integration: Somatic healing aims to help individuals process and integrate traumatic experiences in a way that reduces their negative impact on the body and mind.
- Gentle Techniques: The therapy often involves gentle physical techniques such as touch, movement, and breathing exercises to facilitate the healing process.
- Regulation of the Nervous System: Somatic therapy focuses on helping clients regulate their nervous systems, promoting a sense of safety and stability.
- Holistic Approach: It integrates various elements such as mindfulness, bodywork, and psychotherapy to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Crystal healing
At Sukh Shakti we use crystals and gemstones to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. We lay out our crystals either around us or in certain formations using sacred geometric patterns that are believed to amplify the energies of the crystals and are in-line with the meridian or energy lines of the universe. The crystals will be around or under you to help amplify your treatment by interacting with the body's energy fields, or chakras, to facilitate healing and balance.
We believe that crystals can support our sprititual growth, phyiscal and emotional healing and can clear and protect our energetic field.
